As a former U.S Ambassador to the Netherlands, Tim brings a unique perspective on the Trans-Atlantic relationships between the U.S and Europe, and especially the Netherlands. His long career as a lawyer in Washington, D.C., representing both private and public sector clients across the globe, positions him with a broad range of skills and “battle-tested” experience.
In addition to teaching law and policy at Northeastern University, and serving on several non-profit boards, Tim was appointed last year by President Biden to serve on the Advisory Council for Trade Policy & Negotiations (“ACTPN”) at the United States Trade Representative (USTR). Tim is licensed to practice law in the United States and is a Senior Of Counsel at the Palo Alto-based law firm Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati.
