Bio
Tim has a background in international relations and organizational psychology. He started his career at the Dutch government, where he worked at the Permanent Representation in Brussels.
Afterwards, he worked for more than five years at the Netherlands Institute of International Relations "Clingendael", as an international analyst and trainer in Clingendael's negotiation program. He then joined Berenschot, where he is still an associate for complex negotiations.
Tim founded &FLUENCE to further his ambition of changing the way the Netherlands thinks about negotiation. Together with Maarten, he wrote the book "Toponderhandelaars" in 2018, and he is often asked to provide analysis and commentary on his field by various media. Tim combines his role as a negotiation expert with the chairmanship of the Dutch Professional Association for Negotiators.
