Bio
Jeroen worked in journalism for more than 20 years, as a political reporter for NOS, for Radio 1, and the NOS Journal. He specialized in the fields of Finance, Defense, and Foreign Affairs. For Radio 1, he was also a correspondent in Washington. Additionally, he was a lecturer at the University of Groningen for international students in Journalism. After NOS, he spent seven years as a spokesperson and sparring partner for the Minister for Foreign Trade and Development Cooperation.
Jeroen knows the corridors of The Hague like no one else. He sees through the game of political dialogue and negotiation: he knows which conversations are necessary, how to conduct them at the right moment, and how conflicting interests can be resolved through dialogue and negotiation.
